Good lord, Joker!
I grunted, pressing my heels into his sides. The blood bay stallion snorted, giving a little kick with his back leg. His head was lowered in a frame as he bottled up his speed. Heels down, I prepared myself for him to bolt. He was no Logan, that was for sure. He was something totally different. Joker could probably jump higher and become more successfully but his energy needed to be contained properly. The horse whinnied, a light snort trailing the vocalization. I rolled my eyes as he finally walked foward, all of his energy held back by the bit. If I let go, he would probably gallop off. I bite my lips, eyes up as we walk along.

Come down Lightfeet! I yelled as the huge mare reared into the blue sky with fear burning in her eyes. Pulling on the aqua lead rope as she came down to earth once more. Whoa! I loosened the grip on the lead and eventually, she began to cool down; the fire in her eyes settled and she no longer flinched ever time I moved. I gently pulled on the lead and she began to move her powerful body over to the fence where then, I tried her up. Moving away from her to grab her tack and my saddle. Moving back to her side I pushed the aqua saddle pad, that matched her lead rope, over her withers and followed by my brand new saddle. Reaching for her girth and running martingale, slipping it over her girth and then tightening it on both sides. Now the bridle, I thought. I slipped her leather halter off her beautiful face and replaced it with her number eight bridle. Then, placing the running martingale over the reins. She was definitely a strong horse, and sometimes to strong of a horse. But, you gotta love her!
I moved the braided reins over her neck and led her over to the mounting block where my eyes lingered to the familiar shape of my sister. Hey! I yelled to her, not knowing if she would say anything back.
